A Heart for the City Ministries

 Proverbs teaches us that there is power in our words - power to call forth destruction and defeat in our life by using negative words, or power to bring forth life and blessing through positive words. The words that we speak really do contain power, so let's use them wisely!

 God has said in Job 22:28 that "we will declare a thing and it will be established for us, so that light will shine on our ways." Here we see that 1) God has determined that what we speak will be established, - set in place, or created, - and 2), so that light will shine on our ways. What He hasn't really said in that verse is the reminder to make good choices with our words, but His desire is for others to see the supernatural workings on our life. God's desire for us is a life filled with victory so that our light shines before others and they glorify our Father in heaven. (See also Matthew 5:16 and Mark 11:22-24)

We are Christians that are filled with the very Spirit of God, we can, like God, "call those things that do not exist as though they did" (Rom. 4:17) and watch the situations in our life change by the very things we decree. Decrees change circumstances as well as the spiritual atmosphere over what we are praying for!  

Prayer: Father, in Jesus' Name, I declare and decree life and peace with You. Jesus, You shed Your blood for me, and You defeated every force of sin, sickness, death and evil when you triumphed over them upon Your resurrection from the cross. I declare that every force of evil, death, hell and satan is defeated where I am concerned, and I appropriate that victory over my family as well, in Jesus' name.

Jesus, You took the keys of death and hell away from satan, and You reign in Supreme authority.  I declare and decree that the spirit of death and hell that work together against me, my family, and the place where God has called me to rule is defeated, in the name and authority of Jesus Christ.

 I bind the spirits of death, hell, infirmity and poverty that would attempt to advance against me, my household, my circle of influence or this geographic region. I release the Holy Spirit full of life, resurrection power, healing and restoration. I ask You, Father to commission angels to go lock up every portal of hell and render them inactive. Release Your warring angels to bring forth the victory on our behalf, in Jesus name. I thank You for helping us to overcome in every situation and triumph over evil! Amen.

Father,

In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, and Your precious Son, the Son that shed HIS blood on our behalf, we come to you and ask that you listen and act upon these decrees.

We declare that every blessing, every right of inheritance that the enemy has sought to conceal so that Your blood bought children would lose hope and cast away their confidence, we ask You to make him uncover and allow Your children to see the miracle on it's way. We ask that You make visible the things that we have prayed and believed for, and that joyful expectation of our blessings and breakthrough would give us faith to call our miracles forth. Please allow us to see what You see, in visions, dreams, word pictures and revealed knowledge, that would cause us to declare those things to manifest.

We declare that no weapon formed against us or our children shall prosper. We declare that they will fulfill their destiny and purpose that You have ordained for their life, in Jesus name.

We declare that our children walk in truth, resist evil, and refuse to compromise with worldly enticements. We declare that our children walk in purity and that Your Holy Spirit continually guides them into all truth.You have shined the light of truth in their hearts, and the truth has set them free, in Jesus name. We declare that our children are saved, redeemed and delivered from the snares of this world, and walk with the living God, Jesus Christ, all the days of their life. Holy Spirit, please teach our children how to walk with God. Teach them how to live free from religiousness and to hear the voice of God from an early age.

We declare that our family members are healed. All splintered, wounded and estranged relationships are healed in Jesus' name. We repent from all broken vows, broken trust and broken covenants that have contributed to their hurt. We ask you to release physical, spiritual and emotional healing. Please forgive us for these sins, Lord. We thank you that our children and other family members are restored to us, and their hearts have been completely healed and restored from any and all bitterness, rejection, anger, unforgiveness and confusion. We declare that our family members have turned their back on wickedness, pride, religious control, unbelief, immorality and spiritual idolatry. We declare that they are passionate for You and desire to be close to You and close to us. We declare and decree that our children are now free and that the enemy must release them immediately. According to Your word Father, in Isaiah 49:25 You said you would take them from the hand of the wicked oppressor and contend with the ones that contended with us.

We declare healing to our land. Father, please forgive the sins of the landowners of past generations, and any sins we have committed that would defile our land and bring a curse. Forgive us and previous landowners for idolatry, shedding innocent blood, ungodly covenants, treaties and oaths that were made on our land. We declare all agreements made knowingly or unknowingly with satan and the works of darkness are now nullified and broken in Jesus name. We renounce the enemy. We declare a breaking of these curses and that our land will now produce. We bless our land and declare that all sickness, disease, defilement, and things that cause poverty and ruin must vacate our land immediately.  We declare the lost blessings of past generations to come forth, and we ask that You, Father, would help us to understand how we are to use the production of this land to bless others in Jesus' name.

We declare a restoration of honor, respect and godly blessings in Jesus' name.

We declare that those that have been in captivity are now free; those that have been hurt and wounded, under spirits of control and manipulation have been delivered, set free, and are in the process of healing and restoration, in Jesus name.

We declare and decree that the lost, the scattered, and the oppressed have been loosed from all forms of bondage and wickedness, and they are healed in Jesus name.

We decree life and health over our bodies.According to Isaiah 53:5, "By His stripes we were healed", and we will remain healed, in Jesus' name. 

We decree resurrection power and life into every area of our life that has experienced death, impoverishment, subtraction, or defeat. We declare all seeds that have been sown in faith to be redeemed out of captivity and to begin bearing fruit. We declare that the seeds of false doctrine, error, deception, and everything that has been sown by the enemy will shrivel and die, and those seeds will not reproduce in Jesus' name. We declare life and power into our family, finances, businesses, ministry, relationships, and health.

We declare and decree that the appointed day of breakthrough has arrived, and we are breaking through to take new ground, in Jesus' name. We declare a breaking of every hindrance that has held us back. We declare a breaking of every form of resistance that has held back and delayed our harvest, blessings, and divine appointments for our future, in Jesus name. We bind the spirit of Python and command constriction to be loosed off of us, our families, finances, and our city in Jesus' name.

We declare the enemy's defeat, in Jesus name! We declare that the enemy's strategies against us are unraveled, discovered, and his plots have come to nothing, in Jesus' name!  We decree the enemy flees before us according to Deuteronomy 28:7.

We thank You Father for hearing our prayers, petitions, and decrees. We thank You that as we have declared these things, You are now sending and releasing the answers to those prayers and decrees back down to earth, according to Job 22:28. We thank You for our breakthrough, and for breakthrough for our children and other family members, as well as those here in the city in which we live. We thank You for their healing and restoration in Jesus name. 

 THE ANSWERS TO OUR PRAYERS ARE BEING RELEASED! This is a time like never before to activate our faith and exercise our rightful authority. It is time to pull down the kingdom of heaven and witness the reality of Jesus in our midst. This is my prayer for each of you today:

Father in Heaven,

I thank you that You are God of heaven and God of earth; You are truly Lord over all. Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Your reign and rule is Sovereign and Supreme over every other kingdom. I praise You for who You are! You deserve Glory, Honor and Praise!

Let every knee bow before You this day. I am Your ambassador, Lord.  As a spirit-filled, blood-bought, born again believer, I command every opposing force, every form of demonic resistance I encounter, to yield to the authority of Jesus Christ. I ask that You superimpose Your kingdom, Your power, Your reign and rule over this earthly realm. Superimpose Your Presence over every aspect of my life, over this city, and over this geographic region. Let each person that reads this prayer have a revelation of Your presence, so much so that it brings Your kingdom domain and life-changing power into the midst of their circumstances. Truly the kingdom of heaven is at hand – it is not outside of our grasp because Your Spirit lives within us. Hear us from heaven, Lord, and let Your kingdom come and Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

As Your ambassador, I command healing to be released as I pray for those that have weakness and sickness in their bodies. I command peace and forgiveness to be supernaturally released into the atmosphere wherever I am. I represent the citizenship of the kingdom of heaven wherever I go, and I ask that today and every day henceforth that You make that a living reality in my faith. You said in Your word that others would know we are Your disciples because of the love we have one for another, so please enable me to walk in Divine Love. Let me be filled with Your compassion – the compassion that births miracles. Enable me through godly wisdom, power and boldness to be an effective witness for You, in Jesus' name, Amen.

You shall also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God." Isaiah 62:1-3
