A Heart for the City Ministries

 

The reason our families, our cities and our nation display the results of curses, poverty and other things are because we are out of God's divine order. The problems are due to satan being worshipped on thrones of iniquity. Every time sin is unrepented for and we live outside of God's law, we enthrone satan through our worship of sin and rebellion. This causes a throne of iniquity to create a powerful demonic influence and stronghold over certain families, churches, cities or geographic areas. We sit under a shadow of death and darkness unless we press into God for revelation that brings breakthrough and deliverance. Decrees change the spiritual atmosphere and produce change. We must utterly destoy all of our enemies if we wish to recover all, and we must use the sword of the Lord!

RELEASING THE FEAR OF THE LORD:

 Father, we ask for Your forgiveness for rejecting Your counsel and wisdom, and turning to our own ways. Holy Spirit, please forgive us for rejecting You when You wanted to show us a better way, a more godly way to conduct ourselves and the affairs of our families. We have ruled ourselves and chosen false gods and ungodly leaders for ourselves. Please forgive those in our family line of generations past, and the city fathers of generations past and present for also rejecting Your wisdom and counsel, and choosing their own ways above Yours. We repent and renounce all generational rebellion, idolatry and selfish ambition. We repent for giving ourselves over to false authority and rejecting Your authority. We return this day to acknowledging our need for You, and we thank You for Your forgiveness in Jesus' name.

WE DECREE:  

A release of the fear of the Lord into this city and we declare that the kingdom of God has come into this city, and the state of (name your state). For God Almighty, El Shaddai is God in heaven and of all the earth and that which is under the earth. El Shaddai reigns and rules over all the kingdoms of the nations. We call upon the name of Jesus Christ, the Commander of the Armies of Hosts, to drive out all his enemies, and to send fear and confusion into the enemy's camp. Lord Jesus, we ask You to deliver the inhabitants of this land into our hand and help us to drive out Your enemies, for You have said in Your word that your children should make no covenant with them nor with their gods, lest they make your children sin against You.

 "Thus says the Lord concerning the spirits of Assyria, Python, Baal, Jezebel, Athaliah, poverty, death and hell: 'You shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow here, nor come before it with shield, nor build a siege mound against it. By the way that you came in, the same way you shall return; and you shall no longer come into this city.' For I will defend this city, to save it, for My own sake and for the sake of My servants.' "

 We decree a return to divine order and a release of healing and restoration in every family, business, church, ministry and in our city leadership in Jesus' name.

 

 ADDRESSING UNGODLINESS:

 

WE DECREE:

Righteous leadership will exalt this city, and we call forth those YOU have chosen. Come take your seat of authority. Come into position, in Jesus' name!

 

We declare and end to corrupt leaders, officials, and those that would misuse the position of authority. For it is written that those in the place of authority should "Execute judgment and righteousness, and deliver the plundered out of the hand of the oppressor. Do no wrong and do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, or the widow, nor shed innocent blood in this place." (Jer. 22:3) We close the door to unrighteous leadership , in Jesus name. We declare the scripture in Isaiah 22:17-19 that ungodly stewards that misappropriate their position and resources have been pulled out of position. Those that despise the scepter of Your Son are cut off by the prophetic word issued against them. We declare the battering rams to come against the gates. Because they have made their iniquity to be remembered, in that their transgressions are uncovered, so that all their doings and their sins appear – because they have come to remembrance, they have been taken in hand." Let Your judgments come forth with mercy towards those that are guilty of wrongdoing. Let their hearts be turned back to You, and I pray that You bring others that will restore them and speak truth to them about Your ways. We ask for them to be saved and set free from anything that would prevent them from knowing You for who You are, for You are loving and merciful, Lord. We ask for only what You deem is right and appropriate, but we also declare that righteous rulership exalts our city, and those that will uphold righteous decisions and extend themselves to take care of the poor and needy in society will now take their rightful place in positions of leadership throughout our city. Lord, let genuine godly authority and leaders take their rightful place. Give us leaders that will show compassion to the poor and uphold godliness and divine order in Jesus name.

 

Righteous leadership in our educational system, civil, county and all areas of local government. We declare that they will honor the Lord and uphold honesty, integrity, equity, and righteousness.We declare and decree that those in places of influence and authority, such as in our civil goverment, our laywers and judges shall make righteous judgments with fair and equitable treatment of all parties.Holy Spirit, counsel these leaders and help them arrive at their decisions with Your wisdom which is pure, undefiled and full of good fruits of truth and righteousness.

BLESSING OUR LAND:

 Father, we renounce and repent for any sins made by ourselves or previous landowners. Forgive us for any sins involving the moving the boundary lines of other landowners, shedding of innocent blood, idolatry, greed, abuse of authority, perversity and anything that would defile the land, as well as gambling, ungodly oaths, contracts or covenants with others that should not have been made. We renounce and repent from any covenants or treaties made with disreputable individuals, satan or the works of darkness. Forgive us Lord, for generational sin and rebellion, and for not giving the land proper rest. Lord, we declare blessing and healing on our land. We declare this land will produce abundantly and the hidden resources and blessings will come forth in Jesus' name. We ask You Father to show us how to use the things that come forth from our land to be a blessing to others and help build the kingdom of God in Jesus' name.

TAKING BACK OUR INHERITANCE:

 

WE DECREE: 

The enemy will have no portion, no right of inheritance, and no memorial in our families, in our city, or in this region. Anywhere the enemy has encroached, defrauded and illegally taken what is not his, must be released immediately and given back to the rightful heirs.

 

We declare that the boundary lines and the landmarks of our inheritance have been set by God, and we will not relinquish our inheritance. According to Psalm 16:5,6 it is written that the LORD is our portion and our inheritance, and He maintains our lot. The lines of our inheritance has fallen to us in pleasant places. Father, You said to ask of You and You would give us the nations as our inheritance. We ask You for them.

 

We decree a release of the substance of our enemies to the Lord. We decree that the enemy must give up all the substance of his house, according to Prov. 6:31, and he must restore no less than a 7-fold return of all he has touched, taken, hidden, delayed or seized unlawfully.

 

 

ESTABLISH RIGHTEOUSNESS THROUGH GOVERNMENTAL

AUTHORITY AND DECREES

ADDRESSING WITCHCRAFT:

 

WE DECREE:  

An indictment against the enemies of God, the enemies of truth, justice, and righteousness. We, the children of God, release indictments against all thieves, sorcerers, witches, wizards, and enchanters. We release indictments against all false religious structures, their false apostles, prophets and teachers.  We address their false gods and every demonic spirit attached to them. We bind them in the name of Jesus Christ and command them into the pit of hell, rendering them powerless, paralyzed and impotent.We decree that the work of the enemy in our city will come NOW to a sudden end.

 

ADDRESSING FALSE SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY:

 

All conspiracy of false apostles, prophets and teachers of ungodly religious structures shall come NOW to a sudden end. They have, "like a roaring lion ravaging their prey, they have devoured souls; they have taken the treasure and precious things; they have made her many widows in the midst thereof." Father, those ungodly priests have also "violated Your law, and profaned Your holy things. They have not distinguished between the holy and the unholy, nor have they made known the difference between the unclean and the clean; and they have hidden their eyes from Your Sabbaths, so that You are profaned among them. Those princes, (or rulers and leaders) are like wolves tearing the prey to shed blood, to destroy people, and to get dishonest gain. Their prophets have plastered them with untempered mortar, seeing false visions, and divining lies for them, saying, 'Thus saith the Lord God,' when the Lord has not spoken. The people of the land have used oppression, [injury, fraud, distress, unjust gain, cruelty, extortion], and exercised robbery, and have vexed the poor and needy: yea, they have oppressed the stranger wrongfully," according to Ezekiel 22:25-29.

 

WE DECREE: 

Those in places of spiritual authority, and those that have used their influence in the house of the Lord or other houses of religion in an unjust manner, if they have turned to mediums and familiar spirits, to prostitute themselves with them, they shall either repent and come to You for healing and cleansing, or they will be removed from their position until You determine that they have been sufficiently cleansed and purity is restored. Lord, we ask for You to be merciful to those that do not understand what they have gotten involved with, and to bring revelation to them. Holy Spirit, counsel people with the truth that will set them free and lead them into repentance so that their hearts and lives can be transformed by your love, mercy and grace in Jesus' name.

 

We declare and decree the gain and the pay of the unrighteous and the wicked has been set apart for the Lord; it will not be treasured nor stored up for the gain of ungodly stewards but it is for those who dwell before the Lord, according to Isaiah 23:18.

 

We decree to the sorceries and enchantments of these ungodly religious structures, and we take the sword of the word of God to cut off all deception.Let truth and revelation from the Holy Spirit, which is pure an undefiled, unravel every form of doctrinal error that is contrary to the word of God. We release the fear of the Lord, and the light and truth of revelation of Jesus Christ. We bind a deaf and dumb spirit from prospering against the people of this city, and we command blind eyes and deaf ears to be opened to the SPIRIT OF TRUTH, in Jesus name.

 

We hereby decree the powers of the heavens will now disconnect from all ungodly altars and thrones of iniquity. We declare all spirits of divination and the spirit of Python are silenced and cut off in Jesus' name. We command everything that has been affected or bound by this constriction to be loosed in Jesus' name. LIFE - FLOW. HEALING - FLOW. FINANCES - FLOW. BLESSINGS - FLOW, in Jesus' name! We declare the decree against you that you will go down to the pit with the sword under your head. We command you to get under our feet where you belong. According to Romans 16:20, May the God of peace bruise satan under our feet shortly, and the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with us."

 

We declare and decree that the demonic structures of false religions, and that which has been upheld by the enemy's false authority structure, greed, lust and the pride of life, must bow to the written word of God and be subject to the Kingdom rule of the Most High God on earth.

We decree a release of the works of the blood of Christ to cleanse every conscience of dead works and deception. Let there be a release of truth that will set the captives free in Jesus' name.

 

Decree Against Human Trafficking and Other Forms of Oppression

 

Father we ask for safety and protection of babies, children, and others that would be preyed upon by predators, those greedy for gain, and the ungodly that seek to profit from any form of slavery, black market adoptions and organ transplants and all forms of human trafficking. We ask You to intercept evil and deliver those that would be victimized for it is written that You would bring justice to the poor of the people; You would save the children of the needy, and You have promised to break in pieces the oppressor, according to Ps. 72:4.

 

It is also written that You will deliver the needy when he cries, the poor also, and him who has no helper. You promised to spare the poor and needy, save the souls of the needy, and redeem their life from oppression and violence, precious is their blood in Your sight. (Ps. 72:12-14).

 

We decree help to the helpless; deliverance and angelic assistance to recover and bring to safety those that are victimized. We ask You to help those that are unable to cry for help, and those too young to be aware of the need to cry out. We ask You to overturn injustice and bring predators to accountability and justice. We ask You for their salvation and deliverance, but we also ask You for judgment with mercy, for You have promised in Isaiah 49:25 that the captives of the mighty would be taken away, and the prey of the terrible be delivered. You said You would contend with those that contend with us, and You will save our children."

 

We thank You for saving our children and those that are to be Your children. We issue the written judgment against the works of the enemy and declare that all his plots, schemes and deception is now uncovered, brought to light, and brought to naught before his plans can be executed, in Jesus name. Amen.

 

Decree To Restore Hope to the Hopeless

 

Father in Heaven,

 

We, as members of Your body, ask You to forgive us for hardened hearts and the judgments we have made towards others. Forgive us for our lack of compassion, and even the sins of past generations in our family line for not blessing others when we had the ability to do so. We ask You to forgive us for ignoring their needs and not releasing what has been in our hand to help them. We bind up the spirit of injustice, selfishness, greed and the spirit of mammon. We renounce the love of money and all that is tied to it. We repent this day and turn our hearts back to You. We ask You to help us release what we have selfishly held onto, and start meeting the needs of the poor and forgotten members of society. We ask You to stir our hearts with compassion so that we will not look beyond the need and fail to act. In Jesus name, Amen.

 

We declare and decree a restoration of hope to the hopeless, and an overturning of every injustice against those that have lost their voice in society. You said in Job 5:20 that You save the needy from the sword, from the mouth of the mighty, and from their hand. You said You would do this so that the poor have hope and injustice would shut her mouth.

 

We agree with Your word and declare that those that are lowly are lifted from the ash heat have been set on high. We declare that those that mourn are now lifted to safety. We speak life and hope into the atmosphere. We declare a blessing to come forth to those that are perishing and call forth salvation for those that have no helper. We ask for Your deliverance to come forth to the poor, the widows, the homeless, the addicts, and the orphans in Jesus' name.

 

RELEASING GOD'S POWER:

 

WE DECREE:

A release of the exousia and dunamis power of the HOLY SPIRIT against the works of the enemy. We decree a release of warring angels, angels of protection, angels of breakthrough, angels of finance and administration to release and disburse that which is rightfully ours.

 

We declare a breaking of every gate of brass and bars of iron; that we might receive the hidden riches and those riches in secret places. We renounce the love of money and the spirit of Mammon, and we call forth wealth to come forth for the righteous.

 

We decree blindness into the evil eye that watches,  waits and conspires to take from the children of God. We declare and decree blindness into every evil eye that watches, protects, hides and releases foresight to those that are workers of evil, mischief and carry out the agenda of the enemy. We declare and decree that those spirits are bound in the name of Jesus from hiding, protecting and releasing foresight that enables the agents of satan to escape justice. We declare that the LORD JESUS CHRIST is a shield to us on every side and our rear guard.  In the name of Jesus we declare it to be so. 

 

 

RAISING UP REPUTABLE BUSINESSES

 

We decree an end to disreputable businesses and business practices. We declare that they will conform to righteous business practices and cease contributing to moral decay in our city.

All establishments of ill repute that willfully contribute to thievery, debauchery, prostitution, drug dealing, illegal firearm sales, human trafficking, slavery or other unethical or illegal activity shall cease immediately. We declare that they shall either conduct appropriate, moral business practices or they will close up and move out of the area immediately, in Jesus name. Father, we ask for judgment with mercy on disreputable business owners, and that you would turn their hearts towards You. Show them their error, Holy Spirit. Lead them into truth and understanding that would give them a desire to change their ways and live in such a way that it honors their Father in heaven in Jesus' name. We declare a blessing on all businesses that honor God will their establishment, those that have honesty and integrity in their business practices, and those that contribute to the building of Your kingdom. Let them be blessed so that they in turn can be a blessing to others in Jesus' name. 

 

ADDRESSING SPIRITS OF DEATH AND DESTRUCTION:

We declare that the strongmen of death, hell, poverty and destruction, all spirits of Appolyon and the angels of the bottomless pit, the anti-Christ spirit, and the spirit of Python are defeated in Jesus' name. We bind them and apply the blood of Jesus to those bindings, rendering those spirits paralyzed andn impotent. We send them back to the pit of hell and we release the Spirit of Grace, Repentance and Humility over our city.

 

WE DECREE:

 

A release of resurrection power and life of the Holy Spirit to release life into every place where death has impoverished and taken away from Your children. We speak life to our families, rebirth, restoration, and life to our finances, businesses, and ministries. We declare and decree that the Lord Jesus Christ has ransomed us from the power of the grave and has redeemed us, our finances, our families and our city from death, according to Hosea 13:14. The Lord Jesus Christ has brought this city and all it's captives out of darkness and the shadow of death and has broken our chains in pieces, according to Psalm 107:14. The word of the Lord has been sent and He has saved us out of our distresses, He has healed our commerce, our finances, and he has delivered us from destruction."

 

We declare that Jehovah Jireh has opened the rock and supplied with great provision for our needs. He has remembered His promise to His servants and brought His people out with joy and gladness. He has given us the land of the Gentiles and we have inherited the labor of the nations, that we might observe His statutes and keep His laws." (Ps. 105:41-45)

 

We declare that God has remembered us with the favor He has towards His people and visited us with His salvation, that we may see the benefit of Your chosen ones, that we may rejoice in the gladness of Your nation and glory in Your inheritance." (Ps. 106: 4,5)

 

We declare and decree the confederacy of the enemies allegiances are cut off and destroyed from this land. We possess their borders, and the gates of our enemies, in Jesus' name, according to the promise made to Abraham and his seed in Genesis 22:17 – God, you said "Blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars in the heaven and the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gates of their enemies."  Our God is a consuming fire, and He has destroyed our enemies and brought them down before us. He has destroyed them and they are driven out of the land in Jesus name.

 

 

BREAKING THE ENEMY'S YOKE OF OPPRESSION:

 

WE DECREE:

 

To all evil and demonic spirits (Ahab, Jezebel, Athaliah, Baal, and Midianite spirits): We come to you in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth and we execute the written judgment on you pertaining to the charges of treason, robbery, murder and taking unlawful possession of the inheritance of the children of God and His rightful heirs: "Thus says the Lord God: "Because you have sold yourself to do evil in the sight of the Lord: 'Behold I will bring calamity on you. I will take away your posterity, and will cut off from Ahab every inheritor in your family line, both bond and free."  We declare that the Light of Israel is a fire and His Holy One a flame that will burn and devour the thorns and briers in one day, but the remnant of the house of the Lord shall be saved, and they will never again depend on him who defeated them, but they will depend on the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.

 

We declare that Yahweh's people will return to Him and worship  Him in spirit and in truth, in Jesus' name. We declare that the Lord of Hosts has stirred up a scourge against the works of the enemy, and that the yoke of oppression of the enemy and his burden has been destroyed by the anointing oil.

 

We bind the spirit of Leviathan and pride, as well as all destroyer spirits from the bottomless pit. We send them back to the pit of hell -paralyzed and powerless, in Jesus' name. We release the gifts of the Holy Spirit to bring forth healing to every soul that has experienced wounding, rejection, shame, disappointment, discouragement and has built up walls of self-defense. We command the walls of self preservation to come down, and healing to begin, in Jesus name. Enemy, no longer will you prey upon the weak, wounded or abused! We decree healing to every broken soul;  pride will give way to  humility and trust in the Lord,  and healing, salvation and deliverance will come to every family in our city. 

 

We decree to the predators, proud and self willed that You will no longer take unfair advantage of others. We declare that the Lord of Hosts has lopped off the high and and lofty bough. Those of high stature are hewn down; and the haughty are humbled, in Jesus' name. We declare that the oppressor has ceased, and the Lord has broken the staff of the wicked, for the Lord has risen up against them and cut off the name, the remnant, the offspring and the posterity of the enemy, in Jesus' name. We command every yoke of the wicked oppressor to be removed from our shoulders and from the people of this city. For You have promised, Father, in Isaiah 49:25 that You would take the captives of the mighty away and the prey of the terrible be delivered. You have promised to contend with him who contends with us and save our children."  Father, we ask for judgment with mercy to those that warrant Your judgment. Please reveal Your truth to them and lead them into a path that will help them discover You. May they be saved and come into a personal relationship with You, Lord Jesus.

 

ADDRESSING CORRUPT AUTHORITY STRUCTURES :

 

WE DECREE: 

 

The spirit of Egypt (and this world) its  ungodly order has failed. Father, Your word in James 3:16, 17 tells us that worldly counsel is sensual, demonic and full of every evil thing. We declare that we do not desire this counsel any longer and we declare that the counsel of Egypt and the spirit of modern day Pharaohs is destroyed. We declare that our world's leaders  and those in places of city leadership as well will no longer consult their idols, charmers, mediums and sorcerers. We command all demonic power and divination to be silenced, and destroyed immediately, and the foundation of this corruption to be broken immediately, in Jesus' name. We declare that this day, there shall be built an altar to the Lord in the midst of the city of ____________.. A pillar to the Lord is in the midst, as a sign and a witness to the Lord of Hosts, that this city and it's officials will cry to the Lord because of this oppression, so that He may reveal His deliverers in their midst. Then the Lord will be known once again in this city, and all those that have been of the old order and of that spirit will  repent and turn to  the Lord Jesus Christ. 

 

We decree the fear of the Lord will establish order in our city.  In Jesus' name, Amen.

 

RELEASING A SPIRIT OF LIBERTY:

 

WE DECREE:  

We declare and decree a spirit of liberty has come to set the captives free. We release the fear of the Lord, the Spirit of Truth, and declare that this is the year of the recompense of the Lord. We declare that not a man of our enemies remains to stand against us, or against this city, and the Lord has delivered them all into our hands. Not a word failed of any good thing which the Lord has spoken over us, in Jesus' name.
